What we collect
The Braids & Freckles app does not collect personal information automatically. Users may voluntarily submit wholesale inquiry details (name, company, email, country), which are sent via a secure endpoint for response purposes only.
How the app works
The application retrieves product catalog information from the Shopify store (frizopro.com) through a read-only connection without transmitting user data. Selecting "Get Yours" directs users to frizopro.com in their browser, where that site's privacy policy governs any information provided.
On-device data
Your favorites list is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and is never transmitted to any server. This data remains inaccessible to us.
Device permissions
The app reads device locale settings for language display purposes; this information is kept locally and never transmitted. Product indexing in iOS Spotlight for local search also stores data on-device only.
NFC
The app reads NFC tags on physical product trays to open product pages. No data is written to tags and no information is collected during this interaction.
Third-party services
- Shopify Storefront API — read-only access to product data
- frizopro.com — hosts USDZ 3D model files used for AR preview
- Expo — delivers over-the-air updates; may collect anonymous analytics per expo.dev/privacy
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
